■Laser light and the 4 receivring point makes a protection zone (area)to protect the operator’s hands and fingers.

  DSP-J laser safety device for press brake is made to protect the workers from danger during the process operation of the press brake.  The laser light from the emitter reaches the laser light receiving point of the receiver, creating a protection in the front and central detecting zone.  From these detecting zones, worker’s fingers are protected.
By selecting the mode 1 and 2 of the operation box, you can do the processing work smoothly.  The central zone of the DSP detection area enables state in any mode of operation in between the high speed closing operation.  During high speed closing operation, if you shield the central detection zone, the press brake will stop.  When the upper mold tip passes the invalid start position, the speed of the slide decreases below 10mm/s and safety is secured, and the laser light is disabled. 

Required distance for safe stopping

=sudden stop distance ( inertial descending value)+5mm
*sudden stopping distance depends on the stopping performance of the press.
For the distance required for the sudden stop, you will need to add 5mm to the sudden stopping distance of the press.


■ 2 mode for「Flat bending」「Box Bending」 operation

Operation mode 1:
front/central zone all in use mode ( all detection zone is effective)
In normal bending, at the stage of high-speed closing operation of the tool, the entire detection zone will be enabled.


Operation mode 2:
front detection zone release mode (useful for bending box. The invalid indicator light (yellow) of the receiver will light)
It is useful when the shielding of the light beams occur due to the materials entering the detection area of the front detection zone.


■Mold exchange is also easy


If you loosen the lever of the mounting bracket, the sensor will move up and down smoothly.

Since the laser light from the emitter is not a line, but a thick light, it makes it easier to align the optical axis.

Align the optical axis while lowering the sensor
